As part of the Series of New Croatian Jazz Concerts, Pavle Jovanović Quartet will perform on March 7 at Jedermann Club in Budapest.
The quartet brings a dark and energetic original sound rooted in the language of jazz and improvised music, performed by prominent Croatian jazz musicians of the younger and middle generation: Pavle Jovanović on electric guitar, Vojkan Jocić on tenor saxophone, Hrvoje Kralj on double bass, and Marco Quarantotto on drums.
The Series of New Croatian Jazz Concerts serves as a platform for contemporary jazz expression, bringing together artists who connect jazz tradition with new aesthetics and experimental approaches. The term “new” also encompasses avant-garde and freely improvised music emerging from jazz circles.
The concert is organised by Analogni ured, with the support of partners including We Move Music Croatia.
