Willow Avenue is a rock trio from Zagreb’s Vrbik neighbourhood, made up of Mary May (vocals), Jack de Shaw (Jack de Shaw) and Ante Perković. They came together during the first COVID-19 lockdown, turning apartment jam sessions into a full band.
Their debut album, Come What May (2021), earned praise for its “American-flavoured” rock sound and mature songwriting. With a mix of psych-rock guitar, layered vocals and classic rock dynamics, they quickly stood out on the Croatian scene.
