TONKA

Antonia Matković Šerić, known professionally as Tonka, is a Croatian singer and member of the band Pavel. In 2017 she launched a solo career under the name Tonka, releasing her first single “Bolji smo” as the start of her own musical project.

Her solo music moves away from Pavel’s traditional pop-rock sound toward a modern alt-pop style with elements of neo r’n’b, neo soul and electro pop, reflecting her personal musical interests. She has said that the songs for her solo project were written by Aljoša Šerić and fit her own artistic sensibilities.

Tonka continues to be active as both a solo artist and as a vocalist in Pavel, combining her work in the band with her individual creative expression.
