TBF

The Beat Fleet (TBF) is a Croatian hip-hop and rap rock band formed in Split in 1990. Known for blending rap with live instrumentation, the group pioneered a distinctive sound that fuses hip-hop, funk, rock, reggae, and electronic influences.

Led by core members Saša Antić, Mladen Badovinac, and Luka Barbić, TBF gained recognition with their 1997 debut Ping-Pong (Umjetnost zdravog đira), establishing themselves as one of the most innovative acts on the Croatian scene.

Their music is characterized by sharp, often humorous social commentary addressing themes such as consumerism, injustice, and everyday life, delivered through a distinctive Dalmatian perspective.

With decades-long influence, multiple award-winning releases, and a reputation for energetic live performances, TBF remains one of the most important and original voices in regional contemporary music.
