Sunnysiders was founded as an original blues duo by singer, guitarist, harmonica player and composer Boris Hrepić Hrepa, better known as bassist and co-founder of Daleka Obale, and singer and percussionist Antonija Vrgoč Rola. In 2010, they won the 2nd Croatian Blues Challenge, and in 2011, they represented Croatia at the 27th International Blues Challenge in Memphis, the world’s largest competition of blues musicians, and made it to the semi-finals.

After Memphis, they expanded the band and recorded 4 albums: 2011. License to Blues (Porin nomination), 2016. 10 kartolina s daleke obale, 2017. Click play (winner of the Fender award for the best blues album of the season) and The Bridges in 2020.

In 2012, they represented Croatia at the 3rd European Blues Challenge in Toulouse, they performed at all major Croatian blues festivals and at one of the oldest and largest European blues festivals, the Cahors Blues Festival in France. They shared the stage with Johnny Winter, Ana Popović, Eric Sardinas, Eric Noden and Joe Filisk, Norman Beaker.

Along with Hrepa and Rola, there are experienced instrumentalists Luka Banić on electric guitar, bassist and metal body guitarist Tomi Novak and drummer Miha Vlah. They are currently in the studio recording their 5th album.
