St!llness is a Croatian collective that began in 1998 as an underground hip-hop duo, later evolving into a full live band with the addition of musicians in 2005.
Today, they describe their sound as “tribal roots rock jungle hop”, a fusion of hip-hop, dub, reggae, psychedelia, and controlled noise. The band functions as a dynamic “tribe”, blending live instruments, electronic elements, and layered production into a dense, groove-driven sound.
At its core are powerful rhythmic foundations, guitars that move between reggae, punk, and psychedelic textures, and a mix of sampling and live effects that shape their sonic identity. Their lyrics explore themes of consciousness, society, and human experience—ranging from personal emotion to broader philosophical ideas.
