ŠANK?!

Šank?! is a Zagreb‑based street punk rock band formed in 2010 by four friends, Alen Rakić, Ivan Mrkoci, Dinko Deumić, and Bojan Mišćin, who came up through the local punk, oi!, hardcore, and rock scene in the ex‑Yugoslav region.

Known for their energetic live shows, socially charged lyrics, and DIY ethos, they quickly built a devoted fan base across Croatia and neighboring countries. Their first album Grad je naš was released online in 2010, and subsequent releases include Priče noćnih tramvaja (2011), Treća runda (2013), and Naša stvar (2015), which boosted their reputation with punk anthems like “Grad je naš,” “Zagreb gori,” and “Naša stvar.”

Šank?! has played extensively throughout the region, sharing stages with international punk acts and selling out major venues such as Tvornica kulture in Zagreb. In 2025, they celebrated 15 years on the scene with a concert and the album 15, reaffirming their status as a key force in Croatian punk rock.
