PSIHOMODO POP

Formed in 1983 in Zagreb, Psihomodo Pop emerged from the ashes of punk band Klinska Pomora, led by charismatic frontman Davor Gobac. Rooted in post-punk and raw rock’n’roll energy, the band quickly built a reputation for explosive live shows, drawing comparisons to The Rolling Stones, Ramones and Iggy Pop.

Their 1988 debut Godina zmaja launched them to the top of the regional rock scene, with the hit “Ja volim samo sebe” becoming an anthem, and even reaching MTV as one of the first videos from the region.

Through decades of relentless touring, including a major USSR tour and shows with the Ramones, Psihomodo Pop cemented their cult status. With multiple award-winning albums, including Čiribu Čiriba and Digitalno nebo, they remain one of Croatia’s most iconic rock acts, still loud, rebellious, and unapologetically true to rock’n’roll.
