Pomelo Chess Society is an instrumental rock band from Rijeka (Croatia) representing the new music genre Check-Math Rock. After years and years of playing in various bands, Leo Marohnic on guitar, Vedran Medanic on bass, and Ivan Polonijo on drums, three lovers of chess, exotic fruits, and rock ‘n’ roll joined forces and embarked on a new unexplored journey.
Pomelo Chess Society started in September 2020, and at the end of 2021., they released the eponymous album “Pomelo Chess Society“, after which we played several energetic and impressive concerts captivating audiences with our performance.
