Pips, Chips & Videoclips are one of the most influential Croatian alternative rock bands, formed in Zagreb in 1992 and active for over three decades. Known for their constant evolution and strong authorial identity, the band has become a defining force of the regional rock scene.

Led by frontman Dubravko Ivaniš (Ripper), their music blends alternative rock with elements of art rock, pop, and electronic textures, marked by introspective lyrics and a distinct urban poetic style. From their early breakthrough with the cult anthem “Dinamo ja volim” to critically acclaimed albums like Dernjava and Fred Astaire, the band quickly established both mainstream popularity and critical respect.

Throughout their career, Pips, Chips & Videoclips have continuously pushed their sound forward, shifting from Britpop-inspired guitar music toward more experimental and layered production, while maintaining a recognizable emotional and lyrical core. Their discography spans eight studio albums, including Vesna (2023), which marked a celebrated return after a decade-long studio break.

Renowned for their powerful live presence, from large open-air concerts to sold-out multi-night club residencies, the band has built a lasting connection with audiences. Today, they are widely regarded as a cult act and a cornerstone of Zagreb’s contemporary music identity, with a legacy that continues to shape new generations of artists.
