Phaneron are Stefan Nozica, Nikola Lugovic, Hrvoje Curlin and David Lipovac. They are hugely influenced by 90’ grunge era and the modern progressive and alternative scenes. At first, there was a duo formed by Stefan and Nikola in 2013 as an outlet for an acoustic project outside their’s native bands. Soon after, Phaneron expanded and become a proper band in 2015 to further explore ideas on stage as well in the studio.
In spring 2019. An album “Rekord Ploca” was released. Considering the lyrics in Croatian and grunge as the foundations of the music genre they want to play, “Record Ploca” is a relatively successful achievement because it balances the three borders of grunge, the Croatian rock scene, and phoney rock bands from the domestic stage.
In 2021 Phaneron went once again to the studio to record a new album called “Sfinga” with ten new songs and deep influence by modern progressive metal bands with various rhythm combinations that are distanced from classical rock form.
