PETRA ANTOLIĆ

I have been in music since my early childhood when I started music school at the age of 4. At the very beginning, I attended music kindergarten at the Elly Bašić School of Music, then majored in violin at the Blagoje Bersa School of Music, and in high school, the Theory Department at the Elly Bašić School of Music. At the end of high school, I started vocal education with prof. Mirele Brnetić and completed several years of education at the Bacchabundus Vocal Studio. In parallel with my vocal education, I attended acting classes (4 years) at Studio Kubus. At the age of 19, I made the first audio recordings that were published on the album “Jutro” (2004), author and my father Čedo Antolić, and thus I recorded several duets with my father and participated in the album as a backing vocalist.

During my vocal education, I started performing continuously in Zagreb clubs such as Bulldog, Purgeraj, Sax, Jazz club, etc… With a band, as well as a piano accompaniment. In 2011, I started actively writing and composing, and in the coming period, I recorded and published an album of spiritual music “Ti me vodiš u svitanje” which was completely, music and lyrics written by me. This was followed by many performances at Bonofest, Uskrsfest and Marijafest. Over the years, I would single out solo performances where I was a guest; Gospel in Komedija by Ivana Kindl, Runjić’s evening, collaboration with the Izvor choir, I sang as a support group for Zdenka Kovačiček, I organized and sang at a concert dedicated to Aretha Franklin, I was a guest at the Tribute to Janis Joplin concert, and this year I performed for the first time at the Evenings of Dalmatian Chanson in Šibenik.
