Nikola’s Cage is an energetic groove nu-metal band from Zadar, known for powerful vocals and dynamic live shows. Founded in 2018 by vocalist and songwriter Andrea Dugandžić (Soorowah), the band solidified its current lineup in 2024. Their music combines heavy riffs, strong rhythms, and introspective lyrics, inspired by Alice In Chains, Pantera, and System of a Down.
The band gained recognition after winning first place at the 2019 ST-ART Festival and performing at events like GoatHell Metal Fest. In 2025, they released debut single “Same Mistake” and followed with “Chopped up Jesus”, receiving positive regional media attention. They also won first place at ‘HušKAJ’ and ‘RocKA’ festivals, and second at ‘Ljeto na Zagrebačkom Velesajmu’, cementing their live reputation.
