VANJA I NEŠVIL FUNK

Vanja i Nešvil Funk is a Croatian hip-hop/funk collective from Osijek, formed around rapper/beatboxer Vanja Hrvoje Dražić and a group of musicians and vocalists. The band’s lineup has included bass, guitar, synthesizer, drums and multiple backing vocalists, reflecting an 8-member groove-oriented ensemble.

The group grew out of Vanja’s desire to play with a live band rather than backing tracks, and officially took shape when friends and long-time collaborators began arranging his songs together, starting around 2016. They blend hip-hop with funk, catchy hooks and a sense of playfulness in both lyrics and performance.

Vanja i Nešvil Funk have performed at festivals including Urban Fest Osijek (UFO) and appeared on compilations from Croatia Records, gaining attention for songs like “Kulenove seke”. In 2022 they released their album Vanj Love on Croatia Records, featuring funk-infused hip-hop tracks and engaging live arrangements embraced by audiences across Slavonia and beyond.

Their music is known for merging sharp, humorous local hip-hop with lively funk instrumentation and spirited vocal delivery, making them a notable act within the Croatian urban music scene.
