Neon Lies started as a synth wave bedroom one-man project in late 2015 by Goran Lautar while he was still singing and playing guitar in Modern Delusion and The Celetoids, prominent bands from Zagreb D.I.Y. punk and post-punk scene gathered around the label Doomtown Records. Soon after that initial period, the project already became a full-time one-man band adventure delivering unique, intense, and emotionally charged live performances.
Since then, Neon Lies toured and played shows endlessly, releasing three albums “Neon Lies” in 2016, “II” in 2018, both on tape, and last one critically acclaimed “Loveless Adventures” from 2020 on 12″ LP which included several European labels, Cut Surface (Vienna), Wave Tension Records (Eindhoven), Black Verb Records (Berlin), Cosmic Brood (Zagreb), and on the tape for US label Mental Healing, and, finally on CD + remixes for Diffuse Reality/Periphylla (Barcelona)
