Neon Iglu are a post-rock band from Varaždin, Croatia, formed in 2019 by members of the local alternative scene. Bringing together a background of diverse musical projects, the band quickly developed a distinctive sound that resists strict genre classification.
Their music blends elements of post-rock, noise, krautrock, psychedelia, jazz, and indie, characterized by dynamic shifts between atmospheric passages and intense, tension-driven climaxes that create a trance-like listening experience.
The band’s debut album Stranput (2022) introduced their expansive and immersive sonic approach, while their lyrics, written in Croatian, explore themes ranging from introspection and personal experiences to abstract and symbolic narratives.
With performances at festivals such as INmusic and a growing presence on the Croatian alternative circuit, Neon Iglu have established themselves as one of the most promising new acts in the regional experimental rock scene.
