NENO BELAN & FIUMENS

Neno Belan is a Croatian singer-songwriter and rock musician best known as the frontman of the influential band Đavoli and for his long solo career. He began his musical journey in the late 1970s and rose to prominence in 1984 when he formed Đavoli, a group that achieved wide success across the former Yugoslavia with hits like Pričaj mi o ljubavi, Stojin na kantunu and Dugo toplo ljeto.

After Đavoli disbanded in the early 1990s, Belan continued as a solo artist and later formed Neno Belan & Fiumens, with whom he maintained a creative output and performed extensively. His music blends rock and pop with Mediterranean influences, often described as part of the Croatian pop-rock tradition.

Belan has written and performed numerous well-known songs such as Galeb, Rijeka snova and Djevojka sa juga, and has been recognized with multiple awards, including Porin awards and the HDS Milivoj Körbler award for his contributions to Croatian music.

He lives and works in Rijeka, where he continues to perform and record, remaining one of Croatia’s most enduring and respected pop-rock artists.
