Negative Slug is a noise sludge/stoner/doom metal band from Zagreb, formed in 2015. Known for their heavy, raw sound, the band consists of members who previously played together in the band Mlinarstvo. Negative Slug has released several EPs and remains active within Zagreb’s underground scene. Their music draws inspiration from what they describe as the “beautifully messed-up” reality of Croatia, shaped by the members’ different musical backgrounds and a shared focus on intensity, weight, and atmosphere.
