MILE KEKIN

Mile Kekin is a Croatian singer-songwriter and musician best known as the longtime frontman of the influential punk-rock band Hladno pivo, which he co-founded in 1988 in Zagreb. With Hladno pivo, he became a defining voice of the Croatian rock and punk scene, co-writing many of the band’s songs and helping shape its energetic, socially engaged sound through more than 30 years of performances and recordings.

Parallel to his work with Hladno pivo, Kekin has pursued solo projects. Early in his career, he released the album U dva oka (2001) with Putnici, and later solo albums Kuća bez krova (2018) and Nježno đonom (2023), exploring more melodic and guitar-driven material beyond punk frameworks.

After parting ways with Hladno pivo in 2023, he has continued his solo music career, performing live across the region and expanding his artistic voice while remaining one of Croatia’s most recognizable musicians.
