Miki Solus is a Croatian singer‑songwriter and multi‑genre musician from Zagreb, known for his unique blend of pop, jazz, chanson, rap, and satirical storytelling. His music is characterized by playful, absurd, and often humorous lyrics that mix everyday themes with pop culture references and unconventional twists.
Solus began his recording career in 2011 with his debut album Muzika sumnjive kvalitete, which quickly drew attention in the alternative music scene. He followed up with Muzika za djecu i penzionere in 2015, reaching a wider audience with standout tracks like “Hipster” and “Pun kufer.”
Over the years, he has released several albums, including Muzika o nogometu, jazzu i palačinkama (2017) and Hamburgeri, kvizovi i craft pive (2020), showcasing his eclectic style and lyrical wit. His work has earned him recognition in Croatia’s music community, including a Porin nomination for Best Alternative/Club Music Album.
In addition to studio albums, Solus also composes music for theatrical productions and has contributed to film soundtracks. He performs live with a band, often featuring piano, guitar, harmonica, bass, and percussion, adding a playful, dynamic presence to his shows.
