LUUL

Luul is a Croatian indie music project led by musician Ivan Lulić, emerging from a shift toward a more personal and introspective solo expression. Originally conceived after the end of his previous band, Luul began as an instrumental project before evolving into a fully realized songwriting outlet shaped by autobiographical themes and emotional storytelling.

His debut album Prevelika očekivanja (2018) marked a defining moment, featuring ten tracks written and performed almost entirely by Lulić himself. The album was recorded with producer Marko Vuković (Svemirko), with mixing and mastering by Damjan Blažun, highlighting a collaborative yet deeply personal creative process.

Blending elements of indie pop, dream pop, and subtle psychedelia, Luul’s sound is characterized by atmospheric textures, understated arrangements, and a reflective tone. His lyrics often explore themes of loneliness, relationships, and inner conflict, creating a cohesive and intimate listening experience.
