LEI

LEI is a Croatian rock band from Rijeka, formed in 2020 as a three-piece focused on original songwriting. The band consists of Mauro Budak (vocals, guitar), Denis Šerer (drums), and Ivan Banović (bass).

They first appeared publicly at the RiRock Festival during the pandemic, where they introduced their debut single “Modra,” which was later named Single of the Week on Muzika.hr. The band quickly gained recognition, winning the RiRock “New Hopes” award in 2021 and building a presence through live performances across Croatia.

After several singles, including “Modra,” “Sebi,” and “Tišina,” LEI released their debut album Oživljavanje in 2024, featuring 11 tracks and marking a significant step in their development. The album showcases a raw, energetic rock sound and was recorded over four years.

With a strong emphasis on authenticity and guitar-driven energy, LEI are considered part of a new generation of Rijeka rock bands continuing the city’s rich musical legacy.
