LADO ELECTRO

LADO Electro is a Croatian music project that fuses traditional folk music with electronic sounds, created as an offshoot of the respected folk ensemble LADO. It was launched in 2002 through a collaboration between LADO and the duo HR Electro, electronic musician Hrvoje Crnić (also known as Boxer) and LADO member Boris Harfman.

The project’s self‑titled debut album was released in 2003 and quickly became one of the most highly regarded Croatian albums of the year, featuring tracks such as 1 Pura 2 Pandura and Dej mi. Their second double album, 2.0 Memorabilium, expanded the sound by integrating more prominent vocals and traditional instruments within electronic arrangements.
