Denis Katanec’s Clinic is a Zagreb-based band led by the prolific singer-songwriter Denis Katanec, a key figure on the city’s music scene for over a decade. Their music blends noise, psychedelic avant-folk, shoegaze, pop, and experimental sounds, creating emotionally charged and introspective songs that explore the human psyche.
The band released their first full-length LP “Jada Jada” last year, hailed by critics as one of the region’s best albums. Their live performance of “Mala snaga II” also featured on the acclaimed compilation “Zagreb Calling: Generation Without a Chorus”.
Current members are Karlo Cmrk (bass), Brane Norac (electric guitar/vocals), Vinko Vujec (drums), and Denis Katanec (acoustic guitar/vocals). With previous releases like “Nikta Zorja” and the EP “Rode”, the Clinic has cemented its reputation as one of Zagreb’s most compelling contemporary acts.
