JONATHAN

Jonathan is a five-member indie rock band from Rijeka, Croatia, formed in 2011. Emerging from diverse musical backgrounds, they quickly discovered a unique chemistry, naming the band as a metaphorical single entity blending all their traits.

Their debut single, “Maggie” (2013), was an instant hit, followed by the album Bliss (2014), earning critical acclaim and radio airplay across the region. Known for their raw energy, darkly optimistic lyrics, and punk-influenced vibe, Jonathan became a prominent name on the Croatian and regional scene.

Subsequent releases, including the EP Getting Closer Is Keeping Us Apart (2015) and the conceptual double album To Love or To Hold (2017), confirmed their creative peak. Sold-out concerts, festival appearances across Europe, and supporting gigs for Editors and The Killers showcase their reputation as a powerhouse live band, blending indie intensity with heartfelt, primal energy.
