Detour is a Croatian pop band that formed in 2006, originally under the name Yammat, before continuing their musical journey as Detour. The group is led by author, arranger, producer and guitarist Nenad Borgudan and features a multi-member lineup with vocalists and instrumentalists.
They are known for their electro-acoustic pop sound with catchy melodies, danceable rhythms and a mix of styles including pop and occasional country touches. Detour’s repertoire includes well-loved songs like “Ljeto počinje”, “Mjesec”, “Gledano sa strane”, “Srce veliko”, “Snijeg”, “Daleko”, “Plešem sama” and “Zaljubila sam se”.
Their work has earned them recognition on Croatian radio and in the region, including Porin awards for their albums and singles. Detour is a staple of the Croatian pop scene, known for strong live performances and a sound that blends contemporary electro-acoustic production with accessible, emotive songwriting.
