DENIS RAZZ

Denis Razumović Razz is a Croatian jazz musician from Rijeka, best known as an alto-saxophonist, composer and long-time presence on the Croatian jazz scene. He started out as a self-taught musician and, despite working various non-musical jobs early on, remained committed to jazz and the bebop tradition throughout his career.

Razz is recognized for his devotion to bebop and for his own original compositions and performances. He has been active for many years in the Rijeka jazz community and is a frequent guest at jazz festivals and programs.

In addition to being a saxophonist, he also works as a vocalist and has a deep understanding of jazz repertoire and technique. His recordings reflect a blend of jazz standards and his own jazz interpretations, showcasing his passion for the music and his place among notable Croatian jazz artists.
