DENIS & DENIS

Denis & Denis is a Croatian synth‑pop and pop group from Rijeka, formed in 1982 by Davor Tolja and Marina Perazić. They were one of the most popular acts of the Yugoslav synth‑pop scene in the 1980s, gaining widespread attention with their early recordings and radio play across the region.

Their music combined electronic sounds with catchy pop melodies, and they became known for songs that connected with audiences at the height of the 80s pop movement. Over time, Denis & Denis released several albums and became regarded as pioneers of the electro‑pop sound in Croatia and the former Yugoslavia. Although the band isn’t active in its original form today, the founding members still occasionally perform together, with celebrations and anniversary shows highlighting their lasting influence on the region’s music scene.
