Beluga is an instrumental alternative trio from Zagreb, Croatia, formed in 2018. The band consists of Dejan Jeličić (guitar, keyboards, loopers), Dubravko Dragojević Zet (drums, electronics), and Tomislav Turković (bass). Together, they craft a distinctive sound that melds post-rock, stoner, grunge, and space-rock influences into rich, cinematic compositions.
Their music is characterized by wide, atmospheric textures, layered melodies, and dynamic rhythms that evoke both introspection and motion. In 2021, Beluga released their debut EP Oceans Apart under Geenger Records, featuring four instrumental tracks inspired by the vastness and emotional depth of the sea. The release established them as one of the most intriguing acts on Croatia’s instrumental and alternative scene.
