ANJA G

Anja G is a singer from Zagreb, Croatia. Since 2017. she has been a part of the Croatian dub/reggae-duo project Anja G & Dr.obi. Their sound is a powerful lyrical message combined with their unique creative production work. With the establishment of Amplifyah Music Label, Anja G & Dr.Obi are now releasing their own digital to stepper production.

Their production is a cooperation with various artists from the region. On the EP “Bun dem” they worked with artists Queen Omega and Sista Tena. The first EP “Bang! Bang!” and “Raggamuffin” was remixed by Jah Billah and Sheco. They dropped a bomb with a special 12″ vinyl dubplate “Ay Carmela” released on Woodland Records and sold out in less than an hour. “Ay Carmela” is an anti-fascist heavyweight stepper that delivers strong messages from this dub-duo. This was just the start of their journey!

They performed at all important regional events and festivals (Seasplash festival, Outlook festival, Escape the city, Zion boska, Free Mental, Roots in Woods, High Grounds festival, Pandemonium festival, Membrain festival). They also had international gigs in Slovenia, Bosnia, France, Germany, Italy, and Austria. They started to perform a live dub set!
