Born in Split, Croatia, Saša Antić is one of the most respected figures in the Croatian hip-hop scene. He is best known as a founding member, lead lyricist and vocalist of the influential Split-based group The Beat Fleet (TBF), which blends rap, reggae, rock and experimental soundscapes.
In the early 2000s he adopted the pseudonym “Alejuandro Buendija” under which he explores solo hip-hop and creative side-projects. His music under that name is characterised by introspective and witty lyrics, genre-crossing production and collaborations with other artists and collectives.
Over his career he has released both solo albums and numerous guest appearances, while TBF continue to perform and record. His solo work has earned critical acclaim and awards, and he continues to push artistic boundaries while remaining rooted in the urban and social realities of Split and beyond.
Whether performing with TBF or as Alejuandro Buendija, Saša Antić brings intelligence, poetry and a distinctive voice to Croatian and regional hip-hop culture.
