ABOP (short for After is Better than the Party) are an acclaimed Croatian live electronic band inspired by acid house, techno, electro, and other early dance music genres. Unlike most electronic acts, ABOP perform entirely live — two drummers, Ivan Levačić and Ivan Vodopijeć, share one drum kit, creating a powerful rhythmic core supported by Erol Zejnilović on bass, Ivan Božanić on digital synths, and Bogumil Kulaga on analog synths.
Their self-titled debut EP from 2016 quickly sold out and took them across Europe, performing in Austria, Italy, Germany, France, and more, as well as major regional festivals like EXIT, Dimensions, and Terraneo.
In 2017 they won the Ambasador Award for Best Electronic Act, and in 2018 released their first music video Right Now, which screened at the Berlin Music Video Awards. Their first LP Delta (2019), released on PDV Records and mixed by Croatian techno pioneer Petar Dundov, cemented ABOP as one of the leading names in the regional electronic scene.
