Bosak & The Second Hand Band (BSHB) is a southern rock/rock’n’roll band from Zagreb, Croatia. A band that lives and plays their music straight from the heart with only one goal: to reach the hearts of listeners and take them by the hand on a journey through the band’s infinite stories.
Four true friends started this journey back in the 2000s when they gathered and formed the first lineup of “The Second Hand Band”. As the band’s at-the-time drummer, Marko Bosak with other members of The Second Hand Band had a dream: to become a vehicle for musicians with the same taste in music and the love for playing and living a life of their own together with the fans that come aboard.
After becoming a household name in Zagreb’s club scene, in 2012 The Second Hand Band released their first studio album of covers – “That’s how we do it”. The story goes on. Many great people and musicians took the ride on the SHB train. They gave their energy, time, and love and poured their souls into the band’s signature sound. They made the band what it is, and where it is today.
Eight years later, taking eleven true stories from his life, frontman and lead singer Marko Bosak put them to music and gave birth to the band’s first original studio album, “Based on a True Story” in 2020. BSHB’s latest release from 2022, “Studio Sessions” is a collection of original songs and covers that have always been a source of inspiration. By recording the album live in a studio setting, in only two days, BSHB captured the chemistry and vibes the band has when doing what they love and playing the music they’re passionate about.
