SHIP Showcase Festival & Music Conference was successfully presented at the inaugural edition of RADAR Madrid, an international music industry event held in Spain.

RADAR Madrid was conceived as a dynamic platform bringing together showcase performances, an extensive conference programme and face-to-face meetings between music professionals over three days. Panels and discussions explored the development of international artist careers, the characteristics of different music markets and the current challenges facing the live music and festival industries.

As part of Speed Networking – Meet the Festivals, a programme designed to connect music professionals directly with international festival organisers, Mirko Burazer from We Move Music Croatia presented Šibenik’s SHIP Festival.

The programme also featured representatives from some of the world’s best-known festivals, including Glastonbury, Sziget, Montreux Jazz Festival, Oslo World and Reeperbahn Festival. SHIP joined festivals of different sizes, profiles and musical backgrounds, with an opportunity to introduce its concept to the international festival community.

Meetings with festival organisers provided an opportunity to exchange insights on discovering emerging artists, developing their careers and exploring potential collaborations.

Participation in the first edition of RADAR Madrid brought new professional contacts and opportunities to continue conversations with international partners, supporting SHIP’s ongoing development and its connections within the European festival scene.
