We Move Music Croatia and Elector made their debut at Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) 2026, presenting Croatia’s electronic music scene at one of the world’s leading music industry gatherings.

Celebrating its 30th edition, Amsterdam Dance Event brought the international electronic music industry to the Dutch capital, combining club nights, live performances and conferences with an extensive programme of professional meetings. For WMMC, the visit marked an important step in its collaboration with Elector, which is expanding its activities to include the international promotion of Croatian electronic music.

Joining the WMMC representatives in Amsterdam were Elector director Arsen Pavešić, Elector collaborator and music journalist Tena Šarčević and DJ and music producer Jan Kinčl. Over four days, the delegation held a series of meetings with festival organisers, promoters, booking agents and other music industry professionals, introducing Croatian artists and discussing potential collaborations.

A specially prepared Elector Croatia booklet was presented during industry meetings at ADE, offering an overview of Croatia’s electronic music scene, from its history and key figures to contemporary artists. The publication gave international music professionals a broader insight into the country’s electronic music landscape.

“Croatia has a long and diverse electronic music history, and a scene whose creativity and diversity deserve greater international visibility. We want to build a more coordinated approach to presenting Croatian electronic music to the wider industry, creating new opportunities for our artists and their music. Bringing WMMC and Elector together at ADE is an important step in that direction,” said Dražen Baljak, founder of We Move Music Croatia.

Among the notable encounters in Amsterdam was a conversation with Freek Wallagh, Amsterdam’s Night Mayor, who shared his experience and valuable insights into opportunities for international connections. Wallagh was also presented with a copy of the recently released Croatia on the Move compilation, featuring a selection of Croatian independent music curated by KEXP’s Kevin Cole.

WMMC’s first appearance at ADE opened up opportunities for continued international activities with Elector, with the contacts and conversations established in Amsterdam providing a starting point for further promotion of Croatian electronic music on the international stage.
