Mark Mrakovčić is a Croatian musician, producer, songwriter, and recording artist who has been a key figure on the country’s independent music scene for more than two decades. He first emerged with the grunge-punk band Scroll and later established himself as a producer working with a wide range of acts, including J.R. August, Nina Romić, Irena Žilić, Sabina Herman, Lovely Quinces, Mašinko, Kensington Lima, Them Moose Rush, ESC Life, Muscle Tribe of Danger and Excellence and others.

In 2020, Mrakovčić released his debut solo album Breeding Black Sheep, which he wrote, recorded, produced and mixed himself, showcasing a garage-indie-rock aesthetic. Five years later, he continues working on new music with his band, featuring guitars and drums, while balancing producing for other artists and his own creative projects.

He is known for his open-minded approach to collaboration, helping young and established artists alike, and for working across genres with artists of different styles. Mrakovčić avoids working on music with messages that conflict with his values, but he welcomes good material regardless of an artist’s profile.

Beyond studio work, he remains active as a live performer in the Zagreb and regional scene, and is regularly featured in festivals and club lineups as both producer and musician.
