MARISOL

Marisol is a Croatian songwriting duo that emerged on the local music scene in 2020 with their debut single “Kontrol frik.” Behind the project are musician Erol, known as a guitarist with Elemental and Kries, and vocalist Josipa, who together created a distinctive acoustic-electronic sound.

The duo describes their style as “mango pop,” blending acoustic guitars and vocals with retro-influenced electronic elements and Mediterranean atmospheres. Their music combines intimate singer-songwriter sensibility with a subtle, danceable feel, balancing melancholic and uplifting moods.

Marisol later released the album “Žene mape,” further developing their acoustic-electronic aesthetic and presenting songs written and composed by the duo themselves. Their music has been praised for its warm atmosphere and blend of pop, Mediterranean influences and subtle electronic textures.
