MAREI

Marei is the stage name of Croatian singer-songwriter Marina Žužić, a young musician from the Istrian town of Tar. She first appeared on the music scene in 2015 at the Melodije Istre i Kvarnera festival. She later performed for several years with the Blues Box Acoustic Trio before beginning her solo career.

Her debut album “Sutra me ne zanima” was developed through a close creative collaboration with musician and producer Danijel Damjanović, who arranged the songs and co-wrote much of the music and lyrics. The album presents a gentle, introspective pop-rock sound, built around Marei’s expressive vocals and a subtle, carefully crafted musical atmosphere.

Written when she was still very young, the songs reflect an intimate and personal creative process and introduce Marei as a promising new authorial voice on the Croatian music scene.

Alongside music, Marei has pursued other artistic interests, studying acting in Zagreb while continuing to write and perform her own material.
