PICKSIEBNER

Picksiebner is a Croatian rock band formed in 2003, known for their energetic fusion of country, blues, rock, and bluegrass, often described as “hard country.” Founded by a group of friends driven by a shared passion for roots music, the band quickly gained attention on the local scene through high-energy live performances in clubs, festivals, and motorcycle gatherings across the country.

Initially performing reinterpretations of classic country and blues songs, Picksiebner soon developed a distinctive sound characterized by unconventional instrumentation, including banjo, harmonica, accordion, and resonator guitar. This unique approach set them apart within the Croatian rock landscape and helped define their signature style.

Their debut album, released in 2007 via Croatia Records, introduced their original material and established them as a recognizable name on the scene. The band continued to evolve with subsequent releases, blending humor, storytelling, and strong musicianship, while maintaining a raw, roots-driven identity.

Known for their charismatic stage presence and technically polished performances, Picksiebner have built a loyal following over the years, performing alongside major regional acts and consistently delivering a crowd-driven live experience.
