KUKU$ is a Croatian trap collective and music group formed in Zagreb in 2012. The core members are Hiljson Mandela, Goca R.I.P., and Iso Miki, who have been central to the project since its early days.
The group emerged from the early Zagreb trap scene and is widely regarded as one of the pioneers of the genre in Croatia and the wider region. Their early releases, including the mixtape FLEXIKON (2014) and the debut album O KUKU$ima se ne raspravlja (2015), played a key role in establishing their presence and shaping the local trap movement.
Musically, KUKU$ combines trap with elements of hip-hop, electronic, and pop production, often characterized by melodic hooks, modern beats, and themes reflecting urban youth culture, self-expression, and everyday experiences. Their style has contributed to the broader popularization of trap music in Croatia and the region.
Over the years, the group has released multiple projects and albums, including Anđeli i bomboni, Glupi tejp, and X (2023), continuing to evolve their sound while maintaining a strong identity within the scene. They have also built a reputation as a powerful live act, performing across clubs and festivals in the region, with highlights including a sold-out concert at Zagreb’s Dom sportova, marking a major milestone in their career.
