SFUMATO

Sfumato are a Zagreb-based instrumental trio. The band consists of Matko Bobić (guitar), Viktor Slamnig (bass), and Ivan Cimi Marinović (drums), and is known for its groove-driven, genre-blending sound.

Their music fuses funk, alternative rock, and elements of jazz and electronic influences into a dynamic, rhythm-focused style, often described as “schizo-funk.” By choosing an instrumental approach, Sfumato emphasize musical expression and interplay over vocals, making their sound accessible beyond language barriers.

With numerous live performances across Croatian clubs and festivals, as well as their debut album Walhali (2018), the band has built a reputation for energetic shows and a strong DIY ethos within the local alternative scene.
