STOKA

Stoka (real name Marin Ivanović) is a Croatian rapper from Zagreb and one of the key figures of the country’s early hip-hop scene. Rising to prominence in the late 1990s as part of the influential duo Nered & Stoka, he helped shape the foundations of Croatian rap with a raw, street-oriented sound.

Known for his direct lyrical style, Stoka later built a successful solo career with multiple albums, blending hip-hop with elements of alternative and experimental music.

Beyond music, he has also worked as a TV host and stage performer, notably creating the autobiographical monodrama Stara škola kreka, which reflects his personal struggles with addiction and recovery.

With decades of influence, a turbulent personal journey, and a strong presence in both music and media, Stoka remains one of the most recognizable and impactful figures in Croatian hip-hop.
