Doringo is an instrumental rock group from Zagreb known for a sound that blends rock, jazz and world music. In 2016 Čvorić formed the core trio of Doringo with Dinko Čvorić (guitar), Mihovil Jurdana (bass) and Damir Mihaljević (drums).
They released their first album Infography in 2017 and followed it with Gužva u Svemiru in 2020. By 2021 the group expanded with Mak Murtić (saxophone, flute), Lucija Stanojević (violin) and Nika Bauman (flute), contributing to the album Budem Budem, which features eight instrumental pieces that combine melodic and textural elements drawn from jazz, world and rock styles.
Doringo’s music is often described as adventurous and evocative, leading listeners through diverse soundscapes and drawing on global influences. They are known for rich instrumentation including violin, flute and saxophone alongside guitar, bass and drums, and for instrumental storytelling that reflects a journey-like quality in sound.
Doringo has performed at various venues and events, and their evolving lineup and stylistic range position them as an original presence on Croatia’s instrumental and progressive music scene.
