DOMAGOJ ŠIMEK

Domagoj Šimek is a Croatian musician, singer and songwriter best known as the frontman and vocalist of the Zagreb rock band She Loves Pablo and the other project Muscle Tribe Of Danger And Excellence. He has also pursued a solo career, releasing music under his own name that explores different styles from his band work, including acoustic and experimental rock.

In his solo work, Šimek released “Born In A Gutter”, a bass-driven track accompanied by a minimalist video, and he has worked closely with producer and multi-instrumentalist Leonard Klaić. He has also collaborated vocally with other artists, including on the track “Thunder” by producer delapse.

In addition to his recording work, Šimek regularly performs live, both in his solo acoustic arrangements and with his bands, including festival appearances such as at Ferragosto JAM. His first solo album Atlas On My Hoof showcased a more intimate, acoustic side of his songwriting and has been noted by critics for its melodic and vocal focus.
